Round-table chat with School Committee

The Somerville School Committee will hold a round-table discussion with the four finalists seeking Maureen Bastardi’s open Ward 1 slot 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22 at the Capuano Early Childhood Center Cafetorium, 150 Glen Street.

The foursome–Bonny Carroll, Ben Echevarria, Steven Roix and Yvette Verdieu–are vying for the open Somerville School Committee position. Bastardi resigned in December to accept her new post with the Board of Aldermen. For the record, the committee plans to fill the vacant seat by February.
