Pescatore (158 Boston Ave, , pescatoreseafood.com) opened its renovated dining room.

White Hen Pantry (734 Broadway, ) was one of 58 White Hen locations in New England acquired in December, 2009 by 7-Eleven Inc. According to a 7-Eleven press release, the White Hen stores will begin operating under the 7-Eleven brand at some point in 2010.

Davis Square Acupuncture: Healing Arts (240A Elm St, , davissquareacupuncture.com) is moving up the block from its former location (278 Elm St) on March 31.

Powderhouse Productions (212 Elm St, , powderhouse.net) has announced plans to rebuild and redesign its current studios.

EAST SOMERVILLE

Papercut Zine Library (226 Pearl St, papercutzinelibrary.org), a lending library of nearly 13,000 independently published works (mostly print zines), re-opened for business March 14. A grand re-opening event is scheduled for April 18.

X-Press Taxes (155 Broadway #1, ) is open for business. Owner Rosaivette Colon (Income Tax Accountant / Paralegal) speaks fluent Spanish and English.

MAGOUN SQUARE

JR’s Deli & Convenience (415 Medford St) has opened in the former location of Cultural Brazil Video.

POWDERHOUSE CIRCLE

Toni & Ana’s Furniture (864 Broadway, ) opened in March, specializing in both new and recycled furniture.

SPRING HILL

Somerville Wine & Spirits (235 Highland Ave, ) opened in late February, owned by Danny Patel and managed by his cousin A.J. Patel.

TEELE SQUARE

Istanbul’lu, a Turkish restaurant, is opening in the former location of the Holland Cafe (237 Holland St).

Maria’s Italian Cold Cuts (1156 Broadway, , mariascoldcuts.com) is moving from its old location (314 Broadway) on April 1. If you love calling in your orders, fear not — the phone number is the same.

UNION SQUARE

Atelier Pilates (7 Landers St, , atelierpilates.com) now offers TRX® Suspension Training®.

Cantina La Mexicana (247 Washington St, , lataqueria.us) is now open earlier (10am) and serving breakfast daily until 2pm. Come in and try their breakfast tacos (bacon and egg, chorizo and egg, and vegetarian).

Choices Restaurant and Lounge (381 Somerville Ave, , choicesrestaurantandlounge.com) introduces women’s dance party, Hips and Lips every Wednesday, 8pm–1am. They are also offering a $5 cover all night for any guests who mention “Scout”.

Prima Pizza (284 Broadway, ) opened with new owner in late February offering homemade Italian favorites, fresh seafood and free delivery.
