Boston Militia 28, DC Divas 0
“We need to keep their special teams at bay,” Boston Militia head coach Derrick Beasley told Scout just a couple weeks before the IWFL (Independent Women’s Football League) Eastern Championship matchup against the D.C. Divas. The Militia did just that in every aspect of the game shutting out the Divas 28-0 Saturday, July 10 at Dilboy Stadium in Somerville. The team now heads to Austin, TX for the IWFL Championship where they will face off with the Sacramento Sirens Saturday, July 24. If you can’t make the most exciting game the season you may be able to listen to all the action on 1510AM The Zone.
